MAKÜ, ranked first in Turkey in the field of Mechanical Engineering

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), according to the SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) results evaluated on an international scale, became the first in Turkey with its publication performance in the field of “Mechanical Engineering”.

The ranking is prepared based on the publications in the Scopus database to compare the scientific production power of universities on an international scale, and it also considers factors such as research performance, innovation, and social impact. In this context, indicators such as the number of publications, citation levels, international collaboration rates, commercialization potential, and social contribution of institutions are evaluated together.

MAKÜ’s highest performance in this field in Turkey is considered a clear indicator of both the quantity of scientific production and the power of qualified studies to create academic impact. The obtained result constitutes a natural reflection of the university's determined efforts to strengthen its research culture, the productivity of its academic staff, and strong collaborations.
